With thoughtful designs, responsible manufacturing and quality materials, Year & Day creates dinnerware that is perfect for everyday use or special occasions. On a mission to bring joy to the tedious process of finding table settings, Year & Day allows consumers to shop à la carte or build their own sets in a few clicks. It was important that their site reflect their minimal aesthetic and uncomplicated process, while also leaving room for whimsy and fun. The end result is a digital experience that allows product quality to shine while delighting users and boosting conversion.

With a goal of designing page templates as versatile as Year & Day's table settings, we balanced UI elements and imagery to allow product photography to shine. The result: an elegant interface and simplified user journey.
effortless path to purchase
Larger product cards feature images, emphasize quality, and boost interaction at the PLP level. This saves users from clicking into individual PDPs when shopping collections or selecting multiple items.
bringing simplicity to the table
The "Build My Complete Set" tool makes buying dinnerware easier by offering tailored recommendations after a series of questions. Users get suggestions on pieces and quantities, which they can customize before adding to cart.
The Year & Day website launch was a resounding success. We revamped the site to enhance the product’s beauty and elegance, while also simplifying the user interface for a smoother experience.
